BAJAR passes on the knowledge about fabrics and production processes collected over centuries in the form of exquisite carpets. We work exclusively with experienced engineers and use the latest technologies to ensure the production of timeless natural fiber carpets of the highest quality.

Unique worldwide.

Due to the diverse climate in the highlands of Mongolia, our sheep develop a unique wool fiber with beneficial quality characteristics. The wool is not only self-cleaning, but also reduces noise in the room and has a positive effect on the room temperature in summer and winter. In addition, it is hypoallergenic and ensures the well-being of the skin.

In addition to sustainable natural wool, production is the heart of BAJAR. By integrating all relevant steps in one place and using state-of-the-art machines, we achieve the highest standards. This not only saves us time and money, but also allows us to offer our natural fiber carpets ecologically and efficiently at affordable prices - accessible to everyone!

During production, the natural material goes through the following steps: First, the wool is collected and sorted. It is then cleaned down to the fibers and the right fiber mix and a pleasant surface are created through blending and emulsification. A complex carding process then produces a finely separated and optimally aligned sliver. After dyeing with the finest and environmentally friendly colors from Switzerland, the fibers are then woven into our carpets using high-end weaving technologies (Axminstor, Wilton), carefully curated in the three collections Luxury, All Natural & Designer. Finally, we carefully check by hand that the quality of the products meets our standards before we pack and ship them.

Quality that can be experienced in every fiber.

Quality is the sum of many decisions. So that you can be on the safe side when it comes to our carpets, all of our products undergo strict and extensive quality control. Every carpet is checked with the utmost care for foreign objects in machines that were specially made for this purpose. Then the yarn and its color are examined. Polyamide is specifically used to seal the edges of our carpets to promote their longevity. This not only extends the useful life of the natural fibers, but also has a lasting positive effect on the economic cycle. If a carpet has defects, we will repair them to perfection by hand or, if necessary, replace the product at this point. Only when the standard of size, design and yarn quality is guaranteed do our products finally come onto the market.
